Regina Choi

I am Regina Hyeonsuh Choi, and I am currently an 8th-grade student at Chadwick International School. For me, art has always been a space where I can play with ideas, look beyond the surface, and express myself visually.

As an art student, I am deeply passionate about reinterpreting classic novels through art. Their stories are timeless, but what fascinates me most is the hidden meanings and deeper questions they carry.

Recently, I have been working on a series of artworks inspired by these novels. In painting, I use gouache and acrylic since they layer well and keep the details sharp. For three-dimensional work, I reach for polymer clay. It is practical and versatile—I can keep pushing the shapes around until it feels right, then fix it once it is baked.
